Day 3 ....

Snow Peas !

Daniel built and installed these shelves, desk, and cabinets yesterday at work. Nice huh!

I clipped out this three minute segment from Monday's Lee Rogers show. Just wanted you to hear it. I found it to be an extremely close reverberation of my own wants, desires, and goals. :) We are definitely working towards the same ideal.

Put in the first raised garden bed...

This is our first finished box in the series of raised garden beds that Daniel is building. Raising the beds will keep Pan from lifting his leg on the vegetables, and curb his desire to dig. Last year he ate ALL the peppers... this year he won't be able to get to them, hopefully! :) We thought large cedar raised beds through out the yard would look better then low fenced beds, and will cut out all of the bending over, preventing gardeners back.
My goal today was to get this bed in the ground, and filled with dirt. Almost finished... and I'm spent!

How do we define ourselves ?

I have several dozen hours of Alan Watts lectures which I have obtained from the ConCen Tracker over the last few years. I have found them to continually provide inspiration and provoke enjoyable thought. I listened to the "Out of Your Mind," series several times over throughout the last week, and was today able to share it with my grandmother. She loved it, and hopefully it will be good for her. I'm sure she will continue listening to him again tomorrow.

I'm back... but only sort of....

I've been getting ready for the 2010 gardening season here since January! It might as well be one of my biggest priorities. Gardeners, start your engines!
